  • What do you love about LC State? LC State is right for me because it offers an excellent program for my major with professors who genuinely care about me as a person and who go the extra mile for their students. I love how the class sizes are small, encouraging students and professors to get to know one another, offering a higher quality learning experience.

  • What do you love about LC State? I enjoyed the small homelike campus. It felt like a home to me just touring it. It also was not too far from home.
  • Favorite LC State tradition: Homecoming
  • Fun Fact: I have a huge family with over 100 cousins. I loved my childhood and growing up with them. Most of my cousins live in my hometown.

  • What do you love about LC State? LC State was right for me because the campus was comfortable from the first time I stepped foot on it. After attending for a year it's still right for me because the faculty really cares about you and making sure you get the education you're coming for.
  • Favorite LC State tradition: My favorite LC State tradition is going to the baseball games. It's a nice break from a week of classes.

  • Favorite LC State tradition: My favorite experience so far has been getting to know all my friends that are going into the same minor as me so we have grown to be close and work together.

  • What do you love about LC State? I love how close I am to everyone. From professors to other students, everyone feels like family on this beautiful little campus!
  • What is your favorite educational experience as a college student? Joining the Women In Lasting Leadership Club and the Annual Women’s Leadership Conference.

  • What inspires you? What inspires me are the people around me who motivate me to keep pushing myself out of my comfort zone.

  • What do you love about LC State? I came here and felt like this is where I belonged. Being able to make connections to classmates and professors is easy to do here, and the community is awesome.
  • Favorite LC State tradition: Humans versus Zombies
  • Fun Fact: I applied to go to LCSC right after high school, but ended up going somewhere else for my first year of school. I transferred here after that.

  • Favorite LC State tradition: I love the sports teams that we have and how good we are.

  • Hobbies & Activities: Soccer, scrapbooking, skateboarding.

  • Fun Fact: I've seen all the seasons of The Office several times through.

  • What do you love about LC State? Smaller class sizes which allows for more student and professor interactions.
  • Favorite LC State tradition: Home coming week, there is things to do for everyone.
  • Fun Fact: A fun fact about myself is as clumsy as I am, I have yet to break a bone or have a concussion.

  • What do you love about LC State? I enjoy the easy access to one-on-one instruction from professors. Also the professors genuinely care about the students and the subjects that they teach.

  • Fun Fact: I attended two National Speech and Debate tournaments in high school.

  • What do you love about LC State? LC State is right for me, because it's not only is a place to get a degree, but a place where you feel welcomed and a home away from home.

  • Fun Fact: My brother is a professional bull rider.

  • Favorite LC State tradition: Indoor Nationals in South Dakota with the track team.
  • Fun Fact: After graduating from high school in Germany I took a year off, traveling to South Africa and Tanzania.

  • Hobbies & Activities: Some of my favorite things to do is anything outdoors, traveling to new places, and coaching cheer and gymnastics.
  • Fun Fact: I competed on the World stage for cheer leading in Orlando, Florida.

  • What do you love about LC State? I love that LCSC has an overall friendly environment on campus. From the time I took my first tour here I was making connections with other students and it made moving away from home a lot easier.

  • What do you love about LC State? LC is a small campus so I am able to get my classes and get personal with my professors. The Nursing Program is also one of the best in the Northwest, in my opinion.

  • Fun Fact: A fun fact about myself is that I can puff out my chin like a frog does when it ribbits.
